Just five minute walk from the Museum you will discover the winding lanes and wind-tower houses of the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood. Stop by the Arabian Tea House for refreshing mint lemonade. Peek into The Majlis Gallery next door for a lesson in Middle Eastern art or join a tour the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding. A short stroll along the Dubai Creek promenade will lead you to the Textile Souk, where bargaining is the norm. At the end of the souk, follow the promenade and you will soon reach Al Shindagha where you will discover Sheikh Saeed’s House- residence of the former ruler of Dubai, now a museum. Break for lunch at Bait Al Wakeel Heritage Restaurant and soak in the views while the chef cooks your choice of seafood and Emirati dish. Across the Creek you will discover the Spice Souk and getting there is part of the fun. Step aboard an abra- traditional wooden boat and enjoy the organized chaos as boats vie for position. On disembarking, the aromatic souk heaving with the fragrance of cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg awaits you. Saffron is the best buy here.
In the afternoon by 03.00pm proceed for an exhilarating dune drive by 4x4 Land Cruisers with our friendly drivers from Mall of the Emirates main gate. It takes an hour drive from the mall to the desert. On reaching the desert, we reduce the pressure of the tyres to gain more traction before we head for a 30-40 minutes dune bashing. The dune bashing is conducted in two parts with a stop to enjoy the beautiful sunset in the dunes.
After the dune bashing, we drive you to our natural bedouin camp to unfold the unlimited fun packed for you! With the very first Arabic Gava (Arabic Coffee) to the authentic BBQ dinner you will experience the Arabian lifestyle in the close distance. Make a note that this full entertainment package is inclusive of camel ride, shisha, henna painting, Arabic dress for photography, free flow of soft drinks and the much exciting belly dance and tanoura dance performance.
